Kimberley’s journey began with a BA degree in Costume Design from Wimbledon School of Art, igniting her passion for creativity. Her dedication led her to become a secondary school teacher specializing in Art, Textiles, and Design Technology, a role she cherished before taking time off to nurture her family.

With seven impactful years spent in a mental health company, crafting resources and facilitating workshops for primary school students, Kimberley realized her heart yearned for the vibrant world of the art studio once more. Thus, The Colour Corner emerged—a space dedicated to nurturing artistic talents and fostering a love for creativity in everyone who walks through our doors.

Meet the Founder

Hello, I’m Kimberley!

Art has always been a huge part of my life ever since I was young. It’s a huge part of who I am! I’ve always adored anything creative, whether it was drawing, painting, printmaking or textiles. I am always happiest when my hands are covered in paint!

Its always been a little dream of mine to open my own art studio. I wanted to create a lovely welcoming space where creativity and ideas are allowed to flourish. Somewhere that I would have loved to spend time when I was young.

And so…. The Colour Corner was created.

I hold an Enhanced DBS and am fully trained in paediatric first aid and safeguarding. I am also registered with Ofsted.
